Sometime back, Mildred of Nalley Valley posted about the Jesus Loves Me song. My 2 year old grandson was sitting with me when I played the video. After that, it has been "Jesus song, again?" Even in the car, he wanted me to play the Jesus song on the cd player. His mother has been trying to teach him the words. Here he is watching the video over and over again. I've been away from posting for over a week while his family stayed with me. First the movers were packing their house and then while they moved to Oklahoma and we unpacked nearly all 25,000 pounds of their stuff. Saturday, his other grandparents came to see the new house. Grandma Betty, who plays for her church, played a few tunes sans sheet music for him. His parents just bought the piano before the move. Guess what song he wanted to hear. Oh, and notice how he directs the music and his sister's voice in the background.

Mary, Riley seems mesmerized by the tune. He is adorable directing the music. I believe he has a future in music! As with so many of us, I hope these words comfort him throughout his life. Thank you for sharing.

I can hardly wait for when he learns the words. When Jesus Loves Me began, you could see in his face the recognition of the tune. Tell Grandma nice playing, too. Wish I could play.

Mary, this video is SO cute, but it also brought tears to my eyes because it reminded me so much of my mother and being a child myself. "Yes, Jesus Loves Me" has to be one of the first songs I ever learned as a toddler, and I can still hear my mother playing the tune on the old upright piano in our dining room. My mother was such a devoted Christian and loved playing and singing hymns from the time she was a child at home with her own mother and sisters. What a talented pianist Randall's mother is. Beautiful and with no sheet music! Thanks so much for sharing this WONDERFUL video. And the photo of Riley watching the video online is so cute too.

I think you have a budding musician on your hands. He is delightful and can keep time very well for his age. I predict he will one day accompany his sister as she sings on stage.

The look on Riley's little face is heartwarming! What a joy he must be! Thank you for visiting my blog. I promised my grandchildren to post more of "Nana's" stories.

Oh he is so sweet!! And what time he kept with his movements-seems he has a natural ability. And he even directed it!
