Friday My Town Shoot Out: My Favorite Place to.....SHOP!
The topic this week was chosen by Cindy over at Just Alaska. She chose, "My Favorite Place to __________" and we got to fill in the blank. I seriously didn't think I would come up with anything because I don't have a lot of options here. Then it came to me. The thing I enjoy most and admit to being addicted to: Bargain Hunting!

Hi Mary, Wish you were here to hit the Friday morning garage sales with me. These cooler days are great for yard sale hopping! I especially love vintage aprons.
You must have got some good deal at the garage sales. I'm beginning to hate going shopping here, because the malls are always packed!

How fun - I love flea markets (the traditional types with the old stuff).
Garage Sales are wonderful, especially if the person wants to get rid of "stuff" rather than actually make money. The prices are more reasonable at those sales, and some terrific bargains can be found.
My wife tells everyone who compliments her on anything any our home that it is "Early Garage Sale" ventage. I'm affraid the habit is mine, not hers. Very humorous post.
I've never been bitten by the garage sale bug. I always drive right by with nary a pang. However, I've heard of people who have filled their houses and even had sheds built to store their garage sale "finds." Now those same people are having to have garage sales as they downsize into a new phase in their lives. Guess somebody will appreciate the bargains!

You should have come to my neck of the woods last weekend....we had a community wide garage sale called "30 Miles of Junque". It is a garage sale lovers paradise.
