On my way to work Monday morning.
This changed to big, fat, wet snowflakes in the afternoon. They melted on the ground and turned to ice last night. My driveway is a sheet of ice. The high today is predicted to be 49 degrees, but currently the wind chill is 27. Here's hoping the ice gets a chance to melt before night.

The pictures are very bleak looking. I do hope the ice will melt - it is so dangerous. Do you have family coming in for the holiday or are you trying to leave town? I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving Mary.

Yuck! I definitely would not want to venture in the fog and ice: a good time to stay home and knit.
Have that taken care of before we get there!!
Ew. Ice, already?
I wondered about you when I saw that storm rolling into western KS... I was holding my breath and hoping we wouldn't get much, and we didn't. The ice is what's so scary!!
Have a very happy Thanksgiving with family & friends, Mary!
*hugs*
Susan
