Friday My Town Shoot Out: Photo Study of a Building

This week we are to do a photo study of a building. "Look at the angles, the light, the windows, doors, special features, its uses past and present." I took these pictures this past summer. I think this building may have had many special features that you just don't see anymore. Notice the small offset window. I wish I could get a shot of the door. I can only guess at it's past uses.

I couldn't get very close,

but I was able to use my zoom.

Whatever it's current use, it will remain a mystery to me!

I'm afraid I would have trespassed. Who would ever know? Go back! If they ask, tell them you had permission. From the Shoot-Out Gang!

Maybe it's an old outhouse. Intriguing.

I could very well be wrong, but it looks like an old outhouse to me. The little hole might have been covered with a screen. Modern day ventilation system? If it is, I'd guess it's a double hole.

This little old shack out back looks like it has seen better days. I wouldn't inspect too closely. Thank you for sharing this odd out building.

My guess is a hunting blind. Possibly, converted from sn snimsl
(dog?) house. Loved the shots though.

Hmmm...I'm guessing a "once upon a time" outhouse??

It just doesn't look tall enough to be an outhouse, maybe one specially for children? Could it have been a cool place to keep the meat - wonder if the little window has a screen? I'd say some sort of little storehouse. Fascinating stuff!

How mysterious! looks like a hunting house, not sure they are always on stilts I think...not a hunter, but it is cool!

If that is an outhouse, how could you stand in it? It looks too short! Maybe it is a chicken coop from days of old.
