Mariell, Riley and Mcclellan after church on Sunday. Aren't they the cutest? P.S. YES! is the only correct answer.
I just had a wonderful week with both of my kids and their families. I had visions of the little grandsons being crazy about each other, but they were content to play in the same room together. They are pretty young and just 6 months apart, so maybe next time. I am looking forward to the time when they want to spend the night with each other. I try to make my home welcoming and comfortable for guests, but the eastern kids can only visit a couple of times a year. I'll just have to come up with some other enticements. Maybe I need to quit sending their stored stuff home with them every time they come and asking Matt to fix things for me. I sure appreciated it though. He fixed the lights on my tow dolly, dismantled the old satellite dish, and repaired the kitchen faucet.
I planned to take the little boys outside on the patio and play in a washtub full of water, but naps and the 100+ temperatures derailed that plan. I also didn't get as many pictures as I wanted, but there are quite a few new ones on my Photobucket.
We attended the Thresher Show in Bird City. This is Riley after he was cleaned up. He had a great time with all the tractors.
We had our long-awaited dinner at Big Ed's after the show on Saturday. The boys did a wee bit of bonding since they were seated next to one another and NO....Mcclellan did not get to drink beer! The server set it down in front of him and he was really thirsty.
