Ice Cream Treat

When I was in Wichita a few weeks ago, I took my oldest grandson to Braum's for ice cream. His choice was the bright blue, called "Birthday Party". This week we went to Baskin Robbins where he again picked the bright blue ice cream, this time called "Blue Rasberry".

He didn't realize his mouth was turning blue as he ate. First, he tried to see it by sticking his tongue out as far as he could.

I used my purse mirror to show him.

After that, he watched himself eat while holding the mirror.

This boy likes blue ice cream.

Do you have a favorite color/flavor?

Does Riley like blueberries? Ben eats blueberries (either fresh or frozen) every morning with his cereal. He loves them while I can take them or leave them. I keep telling Ben he needs the blue color in the blueberries to keep his eyes blue.

The best ice cream I've ever had is the butter brickle at King's Homemade Ice Cream Shop in Lewis, Delaware. We go to Lewis for the Atlantic Ocean beaches AND the butter brickle ice cream!

Those are the cutest pics Mary. My favorite is anything banana but I sure don't want a mirror to watch myself gulp it down! ha ha

I loved reading and seeing the pictures here. Remind me of my own children when they were little and now my grandchildren who are growing up too fast.
I can't say that I have a favorite ice cream. I love most of it. There is one kind I won't buy again. That's Black Walnut. I don't know if it was the brand or what, but it was bitter.
I used to take the kids for frozen yogurt when we lived in Hays. We really liked the choices they had there.

Mcclellan discovered the same blue phenomenon with a blue ras dum dum today. It made my heart happy to see so much artificial coloring all over his teeth.
