Dust Bunnies & Bats in the Belfry?

Lately, I've been feeling inept since I don't raise anything. I use to have a garden, but when I go on my builds they either burn up or the weeds take over, so this year I didn't even try. (forgive the previous sentence, it's not worth the effort to fix it, if I could) I guess I raise grass, because I spend a lot of time mowing it. The other thing I raise really well is dust bunnies. They are multiplying even as you read this. Oh, and I had more apples from my one little tree this fall than I ever had. Also, tonight, I discovered I must be raising birds. I can hear a bird chirping in the ceiling over my head. I went outside in the dark cold with a spot light to see if the screens on the gable vents had come off, but they look intact. Tomorrow I will get the extension ladder and see if there is an opening into the house attic from the garage. I came home one day this week and the garage door was open. Sometimes those darn cats run in as the door goes down. However it got in, I suspect it will have to die there. I sure hope it doesn't stink. I'm not opening up the attic from the inside and having a bird loose in the house. It's very stressful being a homeowner!

I have quite a herd of the little critters, too. It's amazing how they move themselves from pasture to pasture, grazing in every room. I am mortified when they decide to drift through a room when I have company. No matter how hard I try to round them all up, I always miss a few strays.

Thank goodness for the dust bunnies. If they were not there my house would be so empty. (LOL) They are such cute little things. Right now I have these little thread creatures hanging around. I have been sewing alot and snip my threads on the floor. Of sourse they follow me around the house. Thanks for the email. Kathy

I have gathered up dust bunnies for the last 2 days. I decided to move around the furniture and switch the area rugs from room to room. Whew!
and birds and bats. Don't get me started on those. The birds want to build nests on the porches, on the porch ceiling fan, the hanging baskets. Not that there isn't acres and acres of trees out there.
Bats, we really did have those in the attic. Took forever to patch every little hole we could find to figure out how there were getting in.(tiny holes too!) Lots of bats.

Now..I bet you wished you hadn't mentioned dust bunnies and bats.lol...
Have a great day.
