I think I may have confused a little with last week's post. I remember this park as a child. There was a pair of swans on the lake, then one died and even though others were brought in, they just didn't prosper. We could drive clear around the lake back then. Our parents were always telling us to stay clear of the swans if we didn't want to get bitten. This park is located in David City, Nebraska where my mother grew up. We visited family this week and I took the pictures as we left Thursday morning.

That is really pretty Mary! Hope you have a nice weekend.
What a pretty little park. The various elements in both photos really work well together to make the photos interesting and compelling.
These are very peaceful photos you took of the park in David City. Morning is a lovely misty quiet time for parks. Thank you for sharing a little tranquility today, Mary. Beautiful!
Best Wishes, Barry and Linda
What a nice little park. I always try to stop at places like that when I'm driving around the country. You really discover some gems.

Love that first photo. Beautiful. Lovely park.
This is a very nice park. I'd like to have a picnic there in the summer. I like the lamp post in your photo. I think it adds more interest to the landscape. Very nice.
I am still shivering from the snow pics! Yikes! Love tree reflections around water ponds...
This post makes me think of the Nicholas Sparks book with the swans...was it The Wedding? Pretty park.
