The topic for the Friday My Town Shoot this week was chosen by Sherri. It has been overcast and rainy all week so these come from my photos earlier this summer.
This sunrise picture was taken on the west side of Sebelius Reservoir near Norton, Kansas.
Shots of the same sunset 5 minutes apart. Outside of Oakley, Kansas.

That first picture is gorgeous!
There is a mystical quality to your first photo that is quite remarkable. Just beautifully done.
Beautiful!
I simply love to see a sunset on the open range with the full expanse of sky. Thanks for sharing your photos.
Ahh that big sky, how beautiful.
I agree with the others. The first photo is just beautiful!
There certainly is big sky in Kansas! The yellow ring around the sun in the third picture, is that significant of anything? Perhaps good fortune will come your way.
I love your selection of photos this week. Thank you for sharing, Mary.

All of your photos are great, however, I really love the first one. It does sort of exude a mystical quality as Barry said. I also like the pink in the second photo. Very nice.
Those last two shots are incredible!
So pretty. Whether it's over a prairie or the ocean, sunrises and sunsets are amazing!
