Mcclellan's Turn Part III

Hi Mommy,

We went to see the new fire station today and the fireman let me sit in the engines. I already knew all about fire engines from my birthday party, but it's still cool.

We drove by the Thomas County Courthouse and there were men working on the roof. They were way up high. I like the machine that lifted them up so high.

Daddy is helping Grandma sort through some of Grandpa Mike's stuff. We went to the dump and it was really noisy when Daddy and Grandma threw out the iron. I decided to cry when I saw grandma's dog, Indy, today. It just seemed like time for a change since I've gotten along so well with him this week. I screamed, too, when he walked into me in the shop.

Sorry, Dad says I gotta go take a nap so I can help outside later. Dad is going to UPS to mail some packages for his work and Grandma is going to listen to me sleep. She sure is glad Daddy and I are having a day just for her. I will be glad to come home tomorrow and see you and Verity. Are you making a special treat for us?

Hugs & Kisses,

Mcclellan
