Where did that come from?

Imagine my suprise, when I looked down in the shower last night to be greeted with this sight. I wore sandals to work, yesterday, and they must have caused a skin reaction. They aren't new and I've worn them many times. Go figure.
(Yes, I know I have feet like a Hobbit)

It's just one more example of how unobservant I am. Not very long ago, someone at the gym had to point out that my shoes didn't match. They weren't even the same brand, so they should have felt a little different, shouldn't they?

A driver training class I took one time started with a "walk around". I think I need someone to give me a "walk around" before I leave the house.

Am I alone in doing these things? What have you done?

I have some really ugly "house" shoes (kind of like ballet slippers that are held on with elastic straps across the top of my feet) and several times lately, I get where I am going and still have them on!!! That's a terrible rash on your feet - I've had socks to do that to me (nylon) but never shoes!

Hobbit!! You don't have a thick covering of fur on your feet, so I think you're gonna be okay...

Looks like a sunburn!

I read a story last year where some sandles..flip flops from China was causing rashes like that, something in the material. I don't think it's sunburn or it would be all over your foot , not just under the shoe part. Yep I have gotten to work with 2 different socks on, and my slippers also.

Yes, I've been known to wear two different colored shoes. I was mortified when I discovered it. No one said anything about it, so I can only hope they were being polite or didn't notice.

I am so forgetful sometimes. I write myself notes all the time and then forget thte notes. I have some solid soled slippers I wear every where I go. In fact, I noticed I had them on at a city council meeting last month.
Thanx for the comment on my dh. He is pretty great.

Oh, my, Mary. I think I'd toss them if I were you. It looks like it hurts, but maybe not if you didn't notice.

Throw those sandels out..yes I recall a warning last summer about something to do with footware from China.
I have worn different color socks with my shoes. Sometimes I forget and wear snow boots with inapproprite clothing and ininappropriate weather..like in the summer..but my feet were so cold..and then I needed to go to the store..even small children were staring at the funny lady:)
